We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Working Student IT Support & Operations (m/f/d) to support our day-to-day IT operations. In this role, you will help IT Operations as a hands-on member of the team who handles frontline support for [~150] users while learning the full operational stack and taking on more responsibility as your skills develop.

Your roadmap to make an impact

  • Support IT Operations and interface with IT Security, Management and HR

  • Ticket triage, resolution, documentation; escalating tickets to IT Lead

  • User support: account lockouts, password/MFA resets, SSO/email issues, software installs

  • Meeting-Infrastructure / AV troubleshooting

  • Hardware lifecycle: imaging, provisioning, asset tagging, inventory (laptops & workstations)

  • On/offboarding: access setup, hardware handover, user onboarding

  • M365 admin: license assignment, basic mailbox / SharePoint support

  • SaaS license tracking: seat usage, reclaiming unused licenses, renewal flags

  • Network-side support; printer/peripheral support

Job requirements

Who you are

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in IT, Engineering or any other related field

  • Must-have

    • Solid Windows + M365 user-level knowledge

    • Trustworthy with sensitive systems and keen to understand technical solutions

    • Good communication skills (Strong English skills necessary, German would be good for handling phone calls but not a hard requirement)

  • Nice-to-have

    • Entra ID / Intune exposure

    • Linux experience

    • PowerShell scripting

    • Networking fundamentals

    • Prior helpdesk/IT support experience
