We are looking for a new team member who is eager to make a real difference! As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will drive the evolution of groundbreaking ideas into scalable, high-impact solutions for real-world challenges.

Your roadmap to make an impact

• Design and model new parts or refine existing designs based on requirements and performance objectives.

• Contribute innovative ideas to the development of new UAV systems.

• Develop and validate designs using additive manufacturing techniques.

• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate component procurement, act as a sparring partner for the manufacturing department. 

• Take full ownership of projects, managing them from initial concept through production.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing design processes, implementing best practices, and measuring impact.

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and understanding of tolerancing.

• Solid understanding of mechanical principles for designing structural components.

• Hands-on experience with UAVs, including both fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms.

• Familiarity with additive manufacturing processes and materials; injection molding and metal design knowledge is a plus.

• Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in English. German knowledge is beneficial.
