Job description

The PACE is fast. The expectations are high. The contribution matters. Working at TYTAN is more than a job, this is a mission. We push boundaries, think big, and hold ourselves to the highest standard. Our mission and values guide everything we do, and we're looking for people who are driven by ownership, embrace challenges, and are energized by meaningful work. If you're motivated by impact and thrive in dynamic environments, you'll fit right in.

At TYTAN, we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect European sovereignty.

We are looking for a Design Intern to join our Strategic Communication team for 6 months and help shape how TYTAN looks to the world. You will design the materials that put our technology in front of customers, investors, political stakeholders and future colleagues, from product sheets and pitch decks to trade-fair booths and LinkedIn content. You will work hands-on with our communications team, agencies and print partners, and see your work used in real meetings and at major defense events.

Your roadmap to make an impact

  • Design and lay out documents, one-pagers, product sheets and flyers in line with TYTAN's corporate design, from first draft to print-ready file

  • Create and refine presentations for management, customers, investors and political stakeholders, and help maintain our slide templates and visual library

  • Support the visual planning of trade fairs and events, including booth graphics, roll-ups, banners, signage and printed handouts, working with the communications team, agencies and print providers

  • Produce visual content for TYTAN's channels, such as graphics, carousels and simple motion assets for LinkedIn

  • Develop merchandise designs and prepare production files for suppliers

  • Keep brand assets organised and consistent, and deliver files in the right formats for print and digital use

Job requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in communication design, graphic design or a related field

  • A portfolio showing print and digital work, ideally including layouts, presentations and social media content

  • Confident use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and strong PowerPoint skills

  • Working knowledge of print production: bleed, colour profiles, file preparation and working with print providers

  • A careful eye for detail and the ability to apply an existing corporate design consistently across many formats

  • Comfortable managing several projects at once and meeting deadlines around events and launches

  • Fluent in English. German is a strong plus

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with simple motion design, for example in After Effects or similar tools

  • Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools

  • Experience designing for trade fairs, exhibitions or large-format print

  • Interest in technology, aerospace or defence, and in explaining complex products visually

Why TYTAN?

  • Build technology with real operational impact: Develop autonomous defense systems designed to protect lives and strengthen Europe’s security

  • Shape scalable defense capabilities: Work on solutions built for mass deployment, cost efficiency, resilience, and reliable production at scale

  • Contribute to networked air defense: Help integrate our systems into multi-layered defense architectures alongside sensors, command systems, and effectors

  • Develop for real-world operations: Build capabilities together with end users and improve them continuously based on direct operational feedback

  • Move fast and take ownership: Work in a focused, high-performance team where decisions are made quickly and individual contributions have immediate impact

  • Define a new generation of defense technology: Join early and help shape the products, engineering standards, culture, and direction of a fast-growing deep-tech company

  • Work with an international mission-driven team: Collaborate with experienced specialists united by the goal of creating sovereign and effective security capabilities for Europe

Our Benefits

  • Monthly allowances: €68/month in flexible benefits including lunch discounts and EGYM Wellpass or shopping credit

  • Regular health care events: Health check-ups, skin screenings, mental health workshops, and an annual vitamin infusion on us

  • Referral bonus: Earn a reward when someone you refer joins the team

  • Regular team events: On- and off-site activities to connect and celebrate together

  • Corporate discounts: Exclusive employee discounts across a wide range of partner brands

  • Flexibility: Flexible working hours and hybrid work model, plus a modern Munich office built for focus and collaboration
