We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Contracts & Bid Manager to manage the end-to-end bid, proposal, and contract lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of sales, legal, and compliance, supporting lead pipeline management, government procurement processes, and contract execution. You will play a key role in ensuring opportunities are tracked effectively, proposals are compliant and competitive, and contracts are managed with accuracy and efficiency.
Your roadmap to make an impact
Contract Management
Own and drive the full contract (Draft, review, and manage contracts, amendments, and NDAs) and bid lifecycle, aligning cross-functional internal teams and external partners from bid development through successful contract delivery.
Support contract negotiations and change management.
Sales & Pipeline Management
Track and manage the sales and bid pipeline using CRM or internal tools.
Monitor opportunity stages, deadlines, and outcomes.
Provide pipeline and contract-related status updates leveraging KPI dashboards.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure bids and contracts comply with internal policies and procurement regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and reviews.
Job requirements
Who you are
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
Several years of experience in bid management, contract management, proposal management, or a similar commercial role (preferably in defense, aerospace, deep-tech, or government contracting environments).
Proven experience in hands-on management of end-to-end public tenders and government procurement processes.
Solid understanding of contract structures, commercial terms, and risk allocation principles.
Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, and amendments in collaboration with legal and cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to public procurement and regulated industries.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, and compliant proposals.
High level of ownership, commercial mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
Fluent in English and German.
