We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded 
Contracts & Bid Manager to manage the end-to-end bid, proposal, and contract lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of sales, legal, and compliance, supporting lead pipeline management, government procurement processes, and contract execution. You will play a key role in ensuring opportunities are tracked effectively, proposals are compliant and competitive, and contracts are managed with accuracy and efficiency.

Your roadmap to make an impact

Contract Management

  • Own and drive the full contract (Draft, review, and manage contracts, amendments, and NDAs) and bid lifecycle, aligning cross-functional internal teams and external partners from bid development through successful contract delivery.

  • Support contract negotiations and change management.

Sales & Pipeline Management

  • Track and manage the sales and bid pipeline using CRM or internal tools.

  • Monitor opportunity stages, deadlines, and outcomes.

  • Provide pipeline and contract-related status updates leveraging KPI dashboards.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure bids and contracts comply with internal policies and procurement regulations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and reviews.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in bid management, contract management, proposal management, or a similar commercial role (preferably in defense, aerospace, deep-tech, or government contracting environments).

  • Proven experience in hands-on management of end-to-end public tenders and government procurement processes.

  • Solid understanding of contract structures, commercial terms, and risk allocation principles.

  • Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, and amendments in collaboration with legal and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to public procurement and regulated industries.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, and compliant proposals.

  • High level of ownership, commercial mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Fluent in English and German.
